Date.Mom development is a free, location-based social platform where adults can meet new people, make friends and date with people near them. It runs in a web browser — there is nothing to install — and it is built around one idea: that meeting someone nearby should be simple, quick and safe, without a subscription standing between you and a conversation.

Date.Mom is a family-minded social discovery and dating community for people who are parents, open to dating parents, or interested in meaningful connections with family-oriented singles.

You are placed on the map as soon as you arrive, using an approximate location worked out from your connection, so the people around you are visible immediately. From there you can browse or search — by distance, who is online, who has a photo — and message anyone directly. There is no swipe queue and no requirement that someone likes you back before you can talk to them. If you prefer the one-at-a-time format, Yes / No / Maybe is there too, and tells you when interest is mutual.

Conversations carry text, photos, files and voice clips, and every conversation can become a live voice or video call that runs directly in the browser. All of it is free.

There is no charge to join, to browse, to message or to call. Premium is an optional monthly membership for people who want higher daily limits and a few extra features; it is priced by country rather than at one global rate, and it can be cancelled at any time. It is the only thing on Date.Mom development that costs money.

Date.Mom development uses no tracking cookies — none — which is why it shows no cookie banner. Other members never see your location, only a distance rounded to the nearest 5 kilometres, and they never see your age or your birthdate. You can make your profile public, keep it out of search, or hide it completely, and change your mind at any time.

Every photo uploaded is screened automatically within about a minute, and anything that fails is pulled and can be reviewed by a moderator. An automated risk system scores every account continuously against the patterns scam and spam accounts share, and shadowbans the ones that match — out of search, off the map, messages undelivered. Any member can block or report any profile or message. Members can also verify their account and earn a badge that shows there is a real person behind the profile. Date.Mom development is strictly for adults, 18 and over, with a zero-tolerance policy on child sexual abuse and exploitation.

Date.Mom development is built and operated by Intercode, a small independent software company in Québec, Canada, and has been online since 2014. It is independent of the large dating-app groups.
